Sohaib Maghnam is a designer and Engineer whose journey into watchmaking was  far from streamlined. What started as curiosity turned into an interest, a hobby, a study, and then finally, a passion and a career. This process allowed Sohaib to fully appreciate the field as an outsider first, falling in love with horology as a discipline rather than a business, before deciding to leave his career in automotive engineering to pursue watchmaking full time.

"To me, watches embody a kind of beauty that goes beyond logic. Your phone can tell the time perfectly well, but it’s the finesse of a mechanical watch - whether expressed through advanced complications or simple rituals like winding your watch each morning - that creates a unique and almost sacred bond between the watch and its owner. I once heard a watchmaker describe their creations as living beings, lasting as long as they are cared for, and that idea has stayed with me ever since. It’s part of what drew me into this mesmerizing field, and why I continue to contribute to it today"
